So we finished our indoor soccer season on tuesday. Now we prepare for an outdoor tournament.

It's our gay pride week up here. My only complaint is the amount of cash that gets poured into it. $2000 for a drag show alone. Add a comedian and speaker and you've got a hefty wad of cash.

Then looking at their wishlist (thumb drives for members, a laptop, a car, a house, and a nightclub) I get even angrier (fortunately they're asking for donations outside the university).

Can't GLBT people buy their own thumb drives? I did not know that. They taught me something today. A laptop I can see for their presentations, though.

The cars they want are ridiculous (PT Cruiser, Grand Caravan, Econovan, or Lotus Elise). Seriously, if you want to move a lot of people, go ahead and get a minivan, but a Lotus? It's really cocky for a student organization to ask for a $43k, two-seat sportscar to TRANSPORT IT'S MEMBERS!

Five bedroom house? They're all bought, sorry.

And a NIGHTCLUB? Seriously, you should have thought of that before you decided to live in HOUGHTON! You do have a choice as to where you go to school, you're not being forced here. Now get a clue and if you REALLY want to party so much, get out of here.

Sorry for the rant, but arrogance really pisses me off. ESPECIALLY since Fencing club is on a shoestring budget and actually NEEDS equipment.
